One of the last of the jobs on the list before I’m almost ready to book her in for an MOT was to bleed the brakes.
I was all set and ready to go, to only find out that what I thought was a sticky pedal from the car having no brake fluid in the system for a whilem was actually the mastercyliner stuck pretty solid! There was a very small bit of initial movement, but no way you would be able to bleed the brakes.
So, time for a google!
After a bit of searching it seemed to look like METELLI originally made the Fiat mastercylinder and part numbers that identify it are: FIAT 71740005, FIAT 7651142, FIAT 7692964 (and I think 71740005 was the last number used ) and I managed to find a new one on eBay.
Its now all fitted and the brakes all bleed.
Just a few more small bits to sort out and then it will be MOT time 🙂
